Ohio Real Estate Auction Trends for 2016

Like every industry, the auction space is prone to trends.  Many auction companies and buyers are seeing changes in the way that Ohio real estate auctions are being held due to changes in technology.  Here are just a few of the auction trends that you will see during 2016:

  • OreillyTeam-CircleMasterFile9-Nov15More home auctions. Both buyers and sellers are finding that home auctions in Geauga County and Northeast Ohio are an effective and efficient way to sell their home.  Instead of having to wait for months and months to sell your home and always be on call to show it, home sellers like the idea of a quick sale.  Many home auctions are held within thirty to sixty days of the listing and the home is sold in one day.
  • Increasing prices. With more demand at home auctions, there is now an increase in price for homes and farms being sold through Ohio real estate auctions.  With technology now helping to make more properties accessible, more bidders are generating better prices for sellers at the time of the auction.
  • Mobile auctions are popular. Many buyers are now participating in auctions virtually instead of being at the auction.  This has increased the exposure of Ohio homes and farms for sale through an auction to national buyers.  Calling in a bid has become a common practice.
  • Participate in a live auction. You can use mobile technology to call in your bids and you can enjoy the process through a live stream. Online access to auctions has allowed bidders to see what is going on and place their bids accordingly.
